Tate are working with a local authority in their search for Temporary Accommodation Officers to work within Housing Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide extensive housing management and housing related support to homeless households and families with dependent children.
Provide an efficient, responsive and sensitive housing management and housing related support service to resident households, ensuring that high standards are maintained.
Be responsible for undertaking administrative and case file management tasks. Contribute towards the continuous development of the service.
Ensure that all cases are supported to move on from temporary accommodation in a sustainable way by providing comprehensive advice and support covering all housing options.
Undertake a case management role including rent recovery, debit control, arrears, sign ups, voids, repairs and accommodation management responsibilities.
Work effectively in co-operation with other teams and service and ensure positive and effective communication with both internal and external customers.Experience required:
Experience of housing management (letting of properties, tenancy management) in social housing – supported housing or private rented.
