Decision Maker – MASH Part Time Contract
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Decision Maker – MASH to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be required to work on Wednesdays from 1:30pm to 5:00pm at a rate of £36 per hour.
Job Summary:
As a Decision Maker – MASH, you will be responsible for triaging referrals, making MASH enquiries, and speaking to parents and agencies to assess whether a family meets the threshold for statutory child protection. You will also be required to provide direction to MASH Officers and make threshold recommendations. This is a hybrid working role, with some flexibility to work from home and some days spent at our office at the Criminal Justice Centre in Northampton.
Key Responsibilities:
Triage referrals and make MASH enquiries
Speak to parents and agencies to assess threshold for statutory child protection
Provide direction to MASH Officers
Make threshold recommendations
Work closely with other agencies to ensure effective collaboration and communicationRequirements:
Experience of working in a similar role, preferably in child protection or social care
Strong understanding of child protection and children’s social care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to think on your feet and work under pressure
Familiarity with MASH processes and proceduresBenefits:
