Senior Care Assistant – Exeter
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Carer for a lovely residential care home located in the heart of Exminster. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team within a stunning, historic setting.
The care home is situated in a grand 17th-century Georgian listed manor house, surrounded by half an acre of scenic grounds in the picturesque village of Exminster. The home accommodates up to 25 residents, ensuring a personalised and intimate care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of carers to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered
Assist with personal care, medication administration, and daily living activities for residents
Promote the well-being and independence of residents, treating them with dignity and respect
Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals
Uphold health and safety standards and ensure compliance with care regulations
The Ideal Candidate:
A genuine passion for providing high-quality, person-centred care
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
NVQ in Health and Social Care
A caring, empathetic, and professional attitude towards residents and colleagues alike
