Randstad, a leading HR services provider, is looking for experienced childrens support workers to join our residential child care team in Shrewsbury.
As a residential children support worker, you’ll play a vital role in providing care and support to children in a residential setting.
Pay rates:
Days – £12.50 to £16.60 per hour
Nights – £13.50 to £17.70 per hour
Requirements:
Eligible to work in the UK
At least 6 months of experience as a residential children support worker in a residential setting within the last 3 years.
Your own car and a full UK driving licence.
An updated DBS certificate (or a valid police clearance certificate if you’ve lived outside the UK for over 6 months in the last 5 years).
Overseas police certificate if you have lived outside the UK within the last 5 years. What we are looking for:
NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) is desirable.
We are looking for individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work well in a team and independently.
Genuine commitment to the welfare of children.
A strong understanding of safeguarding policies is also essential.
