Recovery Worker

  • We’re currently working with a respected Drug and Alcohol Charity who are looking for an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join their Opiate and Non-Opiate Team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting people affected by substance misuse to achieve recovery and positive lifestyle change.

    Key Responsibilities:

    *

    Manage a caseload of service users with opiate and non-opiate dependencies.

    *

    Complete comprehensive assessments and create person-centred recovery plans.

    *

    Deliver structured 1:1 and group interventions to support behaviour change.

    *

    Promote harm reduction, relapse prevention, and engagement in treatment services.

    *

    Work closely with clinical and psychosocial teams to provide holistic support.

    *

    Maintain accurate case notes and ensure all safeguarding responsibilities are met.

    Requirements:

    *

    Previous experience working within drug and alcohol services.

    *

    Strong understanding of opiate and non-opiate treatment models and harm reduction principles.

    *

    Excellent communication and organisational skills.

    *

    Ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

    *

    Enhanced DBS required (must be in place or willing to obtain one).
