Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Occupational Therapist to join Manchester City Council’s Moving and Handling team. This is a full time role offering up to £36 per hour, DOE.

The focus of the team is to ensure a person is receiving the optimal level of care.
Have a good understanding of moving and handling techniques, equipment, adaptations, and assistive technology to enhance independence, and optimise the level of care received.
Will be sat within the Principal Occupational Therapy Team, and report to the Moving and Handling Optimisation Team Manager (OT). The OT will be working as part of an MDT team with Physiotherapists, OTs, Social Worker and Assessment Officers.
Must have experience of moving and handling including undertaking risk assessments, providing training to carers and equipment (eg hoists, slings, stand aids). Experience in single handed care is desirable.Requirements:
Occupational Therapist Degree or equivalent
Enhanced DBS
HCPC registration
