    ? Contract: Initial 3 months, with possibility of extension
    ? Full-Time: 36 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm)

    Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of families and children? Knowsley Borough Council is looking for a committed and experienced Family First Case Manager to join our dedicated Early Help and Prevention team.

    ? About the Role: As a Family First Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting families with complex needs, helping them to build resilience and thrive. You’ll be part of a dynamic service delivering whole-family early help through multi-agency interventions, with the aim of preventing escalation to more intensive, statutory services.
    You will:

    Conduct whole-family Early Help Assessments
    Organise and lead Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings
    Develop and review SMART action plans with families
    Carry out regular home visits and direct work with children and young people
    Coordinate with a wide range of partners to deliver impactful support
    Work within tight timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards
    Demonstrate excellent safeguarding practice at all times✅ Requirements: We’re looking for someone with:

    Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience
    Excellent organisational and communication skills (written and verbal)
    A sound understanding of early intervention and family support
    Confidence in working directly with families in their own homes
    The ability to develop, implement, and monitor SMART plans effectively
