I am currently representing Haringey Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for a Early Years Officer this role will be: Triangle Children’s Centre, London N15 6NU
The right candidate will:
* Lead and deliver high-quality early years education and care to children aged 0–5.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Foster strong relationships with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to support children’s learning and well-being.
* Monitor and record children’s progress through observations and assessments, using this to inform planning.
* Support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) by implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and working closely with SENCO.
* Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health & safety regulations.
* Contribute to team planning, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
* Act as a key person to a group of children, providing tailored care and communication with parents/carers.
We require the following:
* Working with Children 0-5
* Recognised education/childcare or Early Years education (NVQ Level 3)
* Child Development and learning
* Good Childcare Practice.
