Deputy Manager required for a Supported Living Service in Exeter.
Full job description
Responsibilities:-
Manage all aspects of the home, managing and supporting service users, managing health and safety and people management within a supported living environment.
You must have management experience or senior experience and have experience of working in a supported living setting and/or working with people who have a learning disability/specialist/complex needs/behaviours that may challenge.
Good communication skills, a common-sense approach, be able to work on their own initiative after completion of an extensive induction.
An ability to build positive relationships with service users and colleagues
An excellent team player who can also work on your own initiative
Approachable, positive and polite.
Every resident has a personalised care plan where residents’ and families may contribute, which describes what help and assistance they require and how they would like their care to be provided. The care plan includes all aspects of daily living such as medication, routines, how they prefer to be addressed, and their likes and dislikes. It enables our carers to provide thoughtful and individual care to our residents ensuring their needs are met in a safe, secure and relaxed atmosphere.
