Are you a qualified and compassionate Social Worker looking to make a real difference in children’s lives? Cardiff Council is recruiting for a permanent Social Worker in the Kinship & Assessment Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support children within their extended families and provide vital assessments and interventions.
About the Role:
Deliver high-quality social work services tailored to children and families within kinship care
Conduct assessments, care planning, and reviews to safeguard children
Work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated support
Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant legislation
Participate in supervision and ongoing professional development
What We’re Looking For:
Social Work Degree or equivalent relevant qualification
2+ years post-qualifying experience working with children and families in the UK
Registered with Social Care Wales
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS
