Randstad are looking for Residential Childcare Workers to join our dedicated and expert team providing support for children with social, emotional and behavioural issues ages 10-18 with past trauma. Support from within the team and a dedicated Randstad consultant A successful residential childcare worker will responsible for:
Encouraging the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of the children in the service
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with children in the service and acting as a key worker to children
Utilise positive behaviour techniques
Coordinating with teachers, social workers and wider care team to monitor and advance the needs of young people
Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards
Promoting participation in education and life skills programmesTo be successful in your application, you will:
Have previous experience working in a residential setting with young people
Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
Have strong communication skills
Register under the PVG scheme
Full driving licence
