Are you an experienced Childcare Social Worker ready for your next permanent move?
Leicester City Council is recruiting experienced Level 3 Social Workers to join our Children in Need (CIN) and Single Assessment Team (SAT). These permanent Grade 9 roles offer a salary of £42,839–£46,142 plus up to £8,000 relocation support. Sponsorship or transfer of sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
? The Role
Undertake detailed single assessments for children and families
Manage referrals and complete face-to-face and virtual visits
Lead on strategy discussions and Section 47 enquiries
Participate in duty every 3 weeks, responding to urgent safeguarding matters
Work closely with Early Help, MST and partner agencies
Hybrid working – office-based (Leicester) and remote flexibility✅ What We’re Looking For
Level 3 Social Worker with Court and Front Door experience
Strong assessment and safeguarding background
Confident managing urgent child protection work
Ability to work both independently and within a close-knit team
Willingness to be based within the Leicester area (relocation support available)
