£33.77 per hour (Umbrella) (£27 PAYE an hour)
Wiltshire Council is seeking an experienced Brokerage Officer to support the efficient sourcing of care and support services in line with identified customer outcomes.
Key duties include:
Sourcing appropriate care packages to meet assessed needs
Ensuring best value for money and effective use of resources
Working closely with social care teams, commissioners, and providers
Following agreed brokerage and procurement processes
Managing a fast-paced workload and meeting timescales
Challenging and influencing where needed to support effective commissioningRequirements:
NVQ/NC Level 4 (or equivalent experience)
Strong experience in brokerage, commissioning, or social care sourcing
Excellent ICT skills (Microsoft & specialist systems)
Strong analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills
Experience with budget monitoring and financial processesThis is a great opportunity to work within a centralised brokerage function for a well-regarded local authority
