Good Afternoon,
I am currently representing Enfield Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for a Deputy Manager this role will be: Bridgewood Nursing Home, EN3 5XX
The right candidate will:
* Leadership & Support – Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations. – Act as the manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership. – Provide visible, hands-on leadership during shifts.
* Quality & Compliance – Ensure care delivery meets Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and legislative requirements. – Monitor and update care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures. – Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Staff Management – Supervise and mentor care staff, promoting professional development. – Coordinate rotas and staffing levels to maintain safe coverage. – Handle performance management and support recruitment/induction.
* Resident Care – Provide hands on care, oversee the wellbeing of residents, ensuring person-centred care. – Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies. – Respond to complex care needs and emergencies.
* Administration – Manage medication processes and accurate record-keeping. – Support budget monitoring and resource allocation. – Ensure effective communication across the team and with stakeholders.
We require the following:
* Previous experience as Deputy Manager in Older People’s Care Home Essential.
