Drug and Alcohol Support Practitioner – Dundee / Fife / Perth / West Lothian (£17.50 per hour)
Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Drug and Alcohol Support Practitioners to work across Dundee / Fife / Perth / West Lothian within a respected supported housing and community outreach service. This is a contract role paying £16.00 per hour, offering the chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of individuals impacted by substance misuse.
In this role, you will:
* Provide structured 1:1 and group support to service users with drug and/or alcohol dependencies
* Develop and manage recovery-focused support plans tailored to individual goals
* Work closely with clinical teams, housing providers, and social workers to coordinate care
* Offer harm reduction advice, relapse prevention strategies, and motivational support
* Assist clients with housing sustainment, benefits, and community integration
* Keep accurate case notes and contribute to safeguarding processes where needed
We’re looking for individuals with previous experience in substance misuse services, ideally with knowledge of psychosocial interventions, housing support, or trauma-informed care
