Birmingham Children’s Trust is looking to recruit 7-8 Social Work Assistants to join our hub and play a key role in supporting children and families across the city. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a passionate, dedicated team making a real difference in the lives of children.
No formal qualifications required – we welcome applications from individuals with transferrable skills and relevant experience.
Essential Requirements:
Car owner/driver
Good computer literacy
Desirable Attributes:
Flexibility and adaptability
Strong organisation and planning skills
Excellent recording and communication skills
Experience of working directly with children and families is highly advantageous
This role is ideal for those who are motivated, caring, and committed to helping children and families thrive. You’ll provide valuable support to our social work teams, assisting with assessments, planning, and practical tasks that contribute to the wellbeing and safety of children.
