We are working on behalf of a well-established residential childcare provider to recruit a committed and experienced Deputy Manager for one of their homes in the Rochdale area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to step into a leadership role or take the next step in their residential care career.
The home specialises in supporting children and young people with EBD and associated complex needs, providing a therapeutic and stable environment where young people can thrive.
Package Includes:
Up to £35,000 base salary
Mileage allowance for travel to appointments or multi-site cover

Assist the Registered Manager in leading the daily operations of the home
Promote a nurturing, trauma-informed environment for young people with EBD
Provide supervision, mentoring, and support to residential care staff
Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding
Support with rotas, incident management, and compliance checks
Build positive relationships with professionals, families, and the local authorityAbout You:
Experience working in residential care, ideally with children with EBD
Supervisory or Senior RSW experience (Deputy experience desirable)
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
Confident with safeguarding, regulation compliance, and team management
Passionate, resilient, and child-focused
