Mental Health Support Worker for Children
Agency Shifts
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual seeking a rewarding career in mental health support? Randstad is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Carlisle and West Cumbria. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £15-£16, with an immediate start available. You will be making a significant impact on the lives of children with disabilities and/or autism. This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours of work per week, with flexibility to travel across Carlisle and West Cumbria.
Experience
Experience working with children with disabilities and/or autism is essential. Peg feeding experience is also required.
Skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to implement and follow care plans effectively
Proficient in personal care assistance, including peg feeding
Strong record-keeping and documentation abilities
Qualifications
While relevant qualifications are desirable, they are not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided. However, the following are mandatory:
Full UK driving licence (essential for travel across Carlisle and West Cumbria)
PMVA (BILD) certification
Mandatory training certificates
Enhanced DBS check (on the update service)
