Children’s Home Manager – Manchester
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (DOE)
We are seeking a committed and skilled Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a 6-bed residential home in Manchester, providing high-quality, child-focused care in an Ofsted-regulated environment. This home supports children with diverse and complex needs, and the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring stability, safety, and development.
Key Responsibilities
Full accountability for home operations, including care standards, safeguarding, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
Promote a trauma-informed, child-centred culture throughout the home.
Work collaboratively with families, local authorities, and external partners to achieve the best outcomes for each child.
Ensure the home consistently meets or exceeds Ofsted requirements.Essential Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management or deputy management role in a children’s residential care setting.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People’s Services or equivalent).
In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, children’s home regulations, and Ofsted inspection framework.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.What’s on Offer
