Salary: £39,513 – £43,693
Cardiff Council’s Intake & Assessment Team is seeking a Social Worker to undertake initial assessments and referrals for children and families in need. This role is critical in safeguarding children and providing timely support interventions.
About the Role:
Conduct initial assessments and investigations for child protection concerns
Manage referrals and develop appropriate care plans
Liaise with partner agencies to coordinate support
Maintain accurate case documentation
Participate in supervision and professional development sessions
What We’re Looking For:
Social Work Degree or equivalent relevant qualification
2+ years post-qualifying experience working with children and families
Registration with Social Care Wales
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS
