? What You’ll Be Doing
Opening and leading a new residential children’s home from the ground up
Building and managing a skilled, compassionate team
Delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care for children with EBD
Ensuring full compliance with safeguarding and Ofsted standards
Managing budgets, staffing, training, and strategic planning
Acting as a positive leader and mentor to both staff and young people
Collaborating with local authorities, professionals, and families✅ What You’ll Need
3+ years in a senior role within children’s residential care
Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People’s Workforce
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
Strong working knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Children Act 1989, and safeguarding principles
Budgeting, staff development, and leadership experience
Full UK driving licence
Flexibility to take part in the on-call rota
