Leadership Development Manager

  • The Leadership Development Manager role is to join a team of trainers designing, delivering, and evaluating Leadership training initiatives aligned with organisational goals. In addition, this role will support a digital apprentice ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement, whilst delivering our strategic and growth objectives.

    To enhance Leadership capabilities across the organisation through Managers and Leaders induction and structured Leadership development programs, including but not limited to – personal development, Academies, Talent and Succession planning, while providing clear direction to support a high-performance culture within the Leadership population and the evolving landscape of the social care sector.
    Key Responsibilities

    Leadership Training & Development
    Taking a lead in the design and deliver of creative, engaging Leadership training programs face to face and remote building on the existing model.
    Drive collaboration between operations and Learning & Development
    Identify Leadership capability gaps and create tailored development to support personal growth of our current and future leaders aligned to company strategy
    Lead, drive and implement coaching initiatives, with a wide range of experience in this subject
    Lead on evaluation models for training impact and continuously optimise content and delivery methods
    Experience of implementing digital learning opportunities
    Manage the end-of-the-end projects aligned to strategic growth and objectives
    Ensure our training is leading edge to support the evolving training requirements of the demographics, including neurodiverse learning opportunities
    Support the changing landscape of the Social Care sector, identifying key changes to training and learning needs, respond quickly with creative ways of embedding learning and understanding through digital content creation and initiatives

    Teamwork
    Drive an already high-performing Leadership development team.
    Demonstrate Leadership & collaboration skills at all levels
    Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
    Monitor progress against key performance indicators and report on outcomes.
    Stay current with social care trends and best practices to bring innovative approaches to Leadership development in the sector
    Nurturing nature to develop a digital apprentice- knowledge of developing apprentices (preferrable)
    Role to work out of the Lichfield office to support and develop the digital apprentice
    Knowledge of data management to engage and improve performance including a Learning management system
    Carve out robust career pathways for all leadership colleagues
    Empower leaders to deliver excellent quality care with a focus on continuous improvement
    Promote ETHOS values in all aspects of delivery

    Skills, Experience and Qualifications
    Demonstrate experience in Leadership development
    Apprenticeship knowledge – preferable
    Knowledge of interactive learning design is advantageous
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Proficiency using an LMS and other relevant tools
    Strong facilitation, coaching, and instructional design skills.
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management abilities.
    Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
    Passionate about developing others and driving organisational growth.
    Proficiency in Proposal Writing
    3-5 years’ experience withing Learning & Development with experience in design and delivery of training programs
    Budget Management experience
    CIPD Level 5 or above or equivalent
    Coaching qualification (desirable)
