Good Afternoon,
I am currently representing Hackney Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for a Children’s Rights Officer this role will be: Hybrid E8 1DY
The right candidate will:
* As a Children’s Rights Officer, you will be a lead advocate for children and young people both in care and subject to Child Protection Plans
* Undertake Return Home Interviews
* Provide specific safety planning and input around sexual harm and exploitation.
* Proactive and committed,
* You will bring a comprehensive knowledge and skill-base to the challenge of advocating for the most vulnerable children and young people using your skills, empathy and understanding.
* You will promote children’s rights throughout Hackney.
We require the following:
* Experience working within a local authority DESIRABLE.
